JEWELRY CARE

Jewelry Care

Caring for your Clavius Jewelry is straightforward and easy.

When looking after your jewelry, remember the following:

Remove your jewelry during sports and physical activities such as cleaning, swimming and exercising.
Avoid letting your jewelry come into contact with harsh household chemicals and solvents such as bleaches, cleaning liquids and some makeup products and aerosols.

Silver 925, Silver Plated and Brass Pieces:

To increase the longevity of your jewelry you should treat and care for it as recommended above.
Silver and Brass jewelry can become scratched, tarnished and can dull/lose its shine over time. It is safe to polish with a jewelry cloth in order to restore its shine. Please do not try to polish gold-plated jewelry as this will remove the plating.
*Please be aware that some people may experience an allergic reaction to brass which can leave a temporary mark on the skin. This can be especially common with brass rings where the metal spends a long time in close contact with the skin.
If this occurs please remove the item of jewelry and allow for approximately one week (or enough time for the mark to fade) before wearing it again.

To Store All Your Jewelry:

It is recommended to store your jewelry in a jewelry box or pouch.
If the jewelry comes into contact with water, perfume, sweat, or any other form of moisture be sure to carefully wipe off and dry the piece.

By following these simple steps you can ensure that your Clavius jewelry will remain untarnished and shining for many years to come.
